Creating a Congressional Awards program is such a great asset for any association. It lets you raise awareness for your association, industry and the issues that matter most to you – and lets you recognize members of Congress who champion your industry.
It’s also not as hard as you think. Members of Congress love positive press, so they’ll be thrilled to accept an award. You’ll want to start by developing criteria and establishing your selection process. Find a way to present your award in person if possible.
