Economist and Forbes columnist Bill Conerly joined the A100 Podcast to discuss what associations should be doing during turbulent economic times. His advice to all executives: “You need a plan.”
Bill emphasized the importance of planning and learning from past recessions, such as the one in 2008 or the challenges faced during the pandemic. What worked then and what didn’t? His prediction of a late 2023 or early 2024 recession allows execs time to prioritize essential knowledge and implement plans for uncertain economic cycles.
His advice includes assessing industry-specific risks, engaging all members and creating contingency plans to mitigate setbacks.
