Press releases are an old standby, but they shouldn’t be your only approach to getting your message out. There are many alternatives.
Film: Video is king. To create engaging content, make your message clear and concise. Use graphics and captioning to finalize for a polished look.
Mail: If your member company has a cool product, snail mail it to a reporter. Show and tell still works.
Blog: This can be a fresh way to communicate — you don’t have to follow old school rules for releases. You can speak in the language of your audiences. Post it and they will come.
