In my role, I aim to embed diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility into all facets of our publication’s ecosystem. DEIA is fundamentally core to our strategic plan.
Through targeted initiatives like our name change policy, accessibility audits and the creation of our DEIA committee, we ensure these principles are at the forefront of everything we do. Our work extends beyond policy to include meaningful actions that improve inclusivity and accessibility for all members.
We’ve implemented inclusive practices like offering translated abstracts and plain language summaries to make our content accessible, ensuring everyone can engage with and contribute to the profession.
