In 2022, the AGA identified four core pillars of ESG in gaming and pinpointed “Strengthening DEI” as one of the pillars where we could have the most impact. To start, we established a benchmark for industry diversity by gender, race and job level.
Our member survey revealed gaming to be more diverse than the overall U.S. workforce and broader hospitality sector. However, the results revealed that gender diversity, while on par with national averages, was an area for growth.
We’ll leverage this research to engage our membership in collectively advancing DEI in gaming in the months and years to come.
