How to turn disruption into opportunity

by The 100 Companies

Safi Bahcall, author, biotech entrepreneur and innovator, opened up the ASAE Annual Convention with an empowering session on turning disruption into opportunity.

Our biggest takeaways? First, failure should be celebrated. Failing is a part of the learning process, and when failure is shamed, innovation ceases to exist. See both the potential, and the flaws, in ideas to optimize potential. A balance between both outlooks is key. Lastly, replace the “no that’ll never work” mindset with “what experiment could we run to test that idea.”

Associations are very mission driven, and sometimes it takes disruption to turn those missions into reality.
