When the COVID-19 pandemic sent Americans outdoors, the recreational vehicle (RV) industry boomed as first-time buyers sought out socially distant activities. To help members capitalize on this trend, the RV Industry Association (RVIA) supported the Go RVing RV Owner Demographic Profile, digging deeper into today’s RVers and forecasting upcoming industry trends.

“Data is the future,” explains James Ashurst, RVIA Executive Vice President. This mindset has led RVIA to become a hub for members on market research. The customer information collected empowers RVIA members to build business plans specifically tailored to consumers’ needs.
