Higher Learning Spotlight: Q&A with Julie Peller, Executive Director, Higher Learning Advocates

Who are today’s students? Higher Learning Advocates Executive Director Julie Peller shares that “not only are students older and more likely to be working, but they’re more likely to be diverse – to be students of color and first generation students,” noting that higher education has a responsibility to support the needs and success of today’s students.

Peller highlights how leaders can advocate for and learn more about today’s students by supporting the Today’s Students Coalition and discusses how post-secondary education is a proven link to better economic outcomes for individuals.
